Irrigation Provides Boost to Delaware Agriculture

In a recent news article, Delaware Agriculture Secretary Ed Kee called irrigation one of the most important factors contributing to the prosperity of the state’s agriculture industry.

He added that irrigation has improves yield and profitability – citing statics that show production for all crops in southern Delaware jumps dramatically when irrigated, with the yield of some commodities, like corn, nearly doubling.
